Ari DiMaria will graduate in May 2019 with a bachelor's degree from Penn State's Architectural Engineering program as part of the Lighting/Electrical option.
The summer of 2016, Ari studied abroad in Rome where he learned a lot about ancient architecture and how to apply Roman and Greek techniques and elements into modern buildings. He also was able to visit his favorite building, La Rotonda. During the summers of 2017 and 2018, Ari interned at Wiegand Associates, a MEP consulting firm near his home town in MD. From this internship, Ari was able to immerse himself in the building systems design process. He helped with project dealing with lighting, electrical, mechanical , and even plumbing systems, giving Ari a wide base of knowledge.
Ari has also held many leadership positions through Triangle Fraternity at Penn State, where he lead efforts to recruit new members, promoted risk management, and more. During his free time, Ari likes to spend time with friends, play video games, and play with building toys and puzzles to stretch his creative muscles.
